Saint-Hubert is a borough of the city of Longueuil, located in Montérégie, Quebec. In 2014, the population of Saint-Hubert was estimated at approximately 82,548 inhabitants.
Saint-Hubert includes several industries, the most important of which are in the aerospace and agricultural sectors. The American multinational Pratt & Whitney maintains its main factories in the vicinity of the Saint-Hubert airport and in Old Longueuil. Also, the headquarters of the Canadian Space Agency is in the city. The École nationale d’aérotechnique, one of the main aerotechnical training institutions in Quebec, is located on the Saint-Hubert campus of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit.
Named in honor of Hubert de Liège, Saint-Hubert is a generally urbanized area in the southern suburbs of Montreal. On its territory there is an airport recording meteorological data, it is one of the busiest airports in Canada and also houses the National Aerotechnical School of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit.
